Reports Report 1337hl (Event 1337-2017)

Observer
Name Jeff F
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks My first view appeared as a large shooting star, but it didn't burn out right away- it kept going. As it moved eastward it seemed to become larger as it approached. It passed through my field of vision and moved behind some trees, so I moved east to try to find it again. After I went about 15-20 feet, I saw it again before it disappeared over the horizon. Visually it first looked like a shooting star but as it kept getting closer and larger, I could see the tail of Sparks and then even flames, it seemed, as it passed at it closest point. I was expecting it to fade, burn out, or explode but it just kept traveling. I have never seen anything like it.
